72 coupe door reinforcement

I'm looking at a 72 coupe project. Peered inside the doors expecting to see a reinforcement beam of some sort. I didn't see anything but a smooth fiberglass shell. I thought '68 was the only year without this beam. Could these be 68 doors hanging on a 72 or am I just confused? (be gentle when you answer that)

I believe 74 or 73 was the first year for the beam you speak of.

My '73 has the beams in the doors, it was the first year for them.

i think the 73 or 75 was the first year for the reinforcemnt.

The door beams were introduced with the '73 model year.
