Chevy Resto Package Question
I just got my free Reto Package (Thanks GM!) and was thumbing through it today.
I got to the "1969 Corvette Power Teams" page toward the back and saw that air conditioning was not available on the L36 or L68 with the 2.20:1 transmission. (I assume that the 2.20:1 is M21 and/or M22 transmissions?)
Anyway, since my L36 has the M21 with 3.55 rear gears, it fell under the "air conditioning not available" column. Is this a commonly known fact that I have missed over the years?
Since my '69 has no PS, PB, or power windows, I just thought the cheap charlie that ordered it deleted the A/C for cost and power!
I thought I had seen a couple of original '69 "performance" (big block, M21/22) vettes that had A/C? Was I wrong? Does anyone know of any? Just wondering...
