400 Thm Dip Stick Spec.
GOOD MORNIN'
I need a length measurement of a known ORIGINAL trans dipstick from a 1974 L-48 with a THM 400 trans. Mine, I believe is incorrect (too short? 26 1/8" long) and maybe out of a 350 trans. Please measure from the tip of the stick to the top of the handle.

Hey Marty 74,
The dipstick on my '71 270hp TH400 measures 25 5/8" from tip to top.
I'm not sure if they are the same between the years. Mine has markings of "TRANS. FLUID DO NOT OVERFILL " above a split in the stick and " F / 1PT / ADD " below the split.
