uhhh... that was a Pinto.
Never owned a 74 Mustang, but most prior years. I can't help it I was born into a Ford family.

It was a pinto that did not ignite.. It was a fun little car though.. Had some good times in that beast.. My parents bought it new back in 73'. Was $3k new for a car back then...
