I have never seen so many vehicles sold for charities as this year. I noticed that BJ did not wave their fees on all of these vehicles. I guest Craig has his favorites.
I like the fact that the 73 BB sold for $34k with missing smog pump and tubing, wrong valve covers, wrong wheels and such. What do you think my surivor 73bb is worth? $,600,000

Alot of these cars are like that. That $90,000 67 Camaro rs/ss was the same way. Chrome valve covers, etc.
I find it interesting that if a vehicle does not reach a "suitable" bid, it is given extra time on the podium and someone from BJ reminds the bidders that the vehicle is worth much more as they did for Shelby's personal Mustang.
Seems that BJ's selling pratices are dependant upon the vehicle...
The more it sells for, the more commission they make. Doesn't explain why that one Challenger never stopped rolling from one end of the podium to the other and hammered down in like...45 sec?
My guess was correct on this one...went for $22,500...and I think I know previous owner from San Diego...I'll find out when I see him (Forum member)...think he sold it a few months ago to get a new C6..and a classic car dealer from San Diego brought it to Barrett...this car always did very well at local Corvette shows if same one...
