there 4 by 4s with a 2 by 8 in between to give me about 8 and 3/4 width.

thanks cj, i always have my wife watch while going up with any ramps i used. i had bought a set from walmart that were plastic and cracked after 1st use. no way i was gonna lay under plastic anymore.

Nice work

Good idea. I used to have some that were made from solid 10" x 10" timber, I left them in an old shed and they rotted:o .
