Default Engine pics requested
I've all but gotten my unexpected brake upgrade finished and I'd like to do a littel to dress up the engine before digging into a manual trans swap from auto. I've got a long neck chrome water pump to combat the ugly thing that this ZZ4 arrived with and I'm figuring I can fix up that intake with some elbow grease and a few well spent $$'s. I'm interested in feedback on going with stainless hoses vs braided hose kits for radiator hoses, etc (dig that fuel filter? ). Do stainless hoses hold in heat more than others? I've got a bit of trouble keeping this thing cool in the summer, and a Dewitt isn't in the cards for awhile. Also, curious if anyone has any recommendations on some centerbolt valve covers? Pics would be great of some of your engines to give me few additional ideas.

I've tried attaching a pic of what I'm dealing with but it my first try so hopefully it will work...

Nothing fancy...just a basic setup..4 row C/B rad,clutch fan...



On your temps,a good rad flush should help...I'm in a hot climate,and my BB never sees 210 F in 100 F ambient air in traffic...
