I keep seeing posts about repairing body mount #__ but I have no clue where each are located on the car. I'm guessing one manual has this and other valuable info.... please let me know where to get it.
Thanks,
Greg
The AIM has the information and diagrams you are seeking.
Just for reference, from the front of the car to the back the mounts go from 1 to 4 on both sides.
#1 is just behind the front wheel well.
#2 is at the front of the Rocker panel.
#3 is to the rear of the rocker panel just before the rear wheel.
#4 is just behind the rear wheel and is the easiest to see and the one most likely to need replacing.
If you dont have the AIM, then several of the posts on here have pics and diagrams of what you are looking for. Also several tips on what all you will run into and how to work through them. Also, several of the Corvette vendors have illustrations in their catalogs. You are going to really need the AIM eventually so I would go ahead and put my hands on one asap!
