PS, 17 votes... not sure if that represents almost 39000 '69s.
I don't need to know what all 39000 cars were, just a sample of the population. It won't be perfect, but will at least give an idea of the percentage of gold cars that were made that year.

RPO 13- Silver Metallic

It was then painted White, Red, and Red again. it is currently stripped and partially primed. It will either be Machine Silver Metallic or Victory Red, I can't make up My mind.

Gallup uses 700-900 sample sizes to represent 300 million Americans, so it's good enough for them :P

Monza red originally, PO painted it yellow. It is now back to the original, and it looks great.

I really like the color. When the sun isn't shining it is a darker red, but when the sun's out it's almost orange and really pops out

My '76 was originally Mahogany.

My wife wanted to paint it Steel Cities Grey. I wanted to paint it Velocity Yellow.

We compromised on Torch Red.

Originally Red, original owner repainted it white. Thinking of going back to original or lemans blue.

My 73 was Metallic Yellow, now it is RED. My 82 was black, now it is part white (gelcoat) and part black. Soon it will be all black (or LeMans Blue).

Flakey Silver... First time I washed it I took all the paint off it minus the drivers rear qtar.(wheel came off, so did half the qtar, made nice marks on the control arm, must of prep'd it right!) I dunno what they did to the rest of it, but it sucked. It's now matte black. When I eventually do it all again, get rid of the red interior, it will be green... Ugly '70's metallic green!
