Default Humbling Moment

Well the weather this weekend was great and My wife and I had our cars out just running errands and later on Sunday I took the Vette out before putting it away. Just as I reached our neighborhood my wife pulled out in her Z4. I got along side and she was heading to get movies.

We stopped at a light and that is when the fun began (mostly for her). The light turned green and we both hammer on it and for the first 15 feet I thought this was going to be mine. That was short lived as she left me like I was sitting still.

The worst part about it is I blew somthing in the power steering as smoke was bellowing from the rear and the steering got heaving.

Well I caught up with her at Blockbuster and her bost was on...

I guess I will need to repair my steering........and get a little more motor .

Don't feel too bad your not alone on this one. Last year a similar event happened to me. Wife and her 85 Ferrari 308 VS me and the 80. Not even Close.

I know the feeling, my wife's 2 ton Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Hemi blew my doors off last summer, I was never in the race. She now reminds me everytime we go out by saying you want to take the sports car or your vette, ouch.

FYI, this is another good reason for signing up with Netflix, no more blown power steering units going to Blockbuster! (sorry, had to get that plug in).

No thankfuly. The BMW was enough. It's just a 3.0 six rated at 230 HP. It's light enough that it's a rocket.

Modern tech makes a big differance. I think that is what makes the LS swap so inviting.
