Default found switch

I found a switch mounted on a clip like the one that holds the door lock cylinder on place the switch body is white with two spade terminals coming out along with what looks like a plastic (part of the switch body) tab which looks like the connector locks in place it was behind and under the glove box loose just lying there not connected any clue as to what it is.its in a 78

I'm not too familiar with the electricals on the later models. The general area you describe is where the turn signal flasher is located I think.

That was part of the alarm switch in the door. Have no idea why you found it by the glovebox.

Did it look like this (the white thingy on the right)? If so, it's the alarm switch on the left door lock.

duke 94 yes thats it, your a genius, ok my next question where can i find a replacement and you see where the wires looks like yellow and blue its an alarm switch key activated where can i find two of those. thanks a million. and where did you find that picture i have been looking everywhere for illustrations like that of the door. and goinbroke thanks for that electrical layout boy is that going to come in handy. artsvette73 you also were right on just by the discription all you guys are awesome thanks again
