been working on this for right at 1 yr now. it is a 73 that was smashed in front. since it needed a front clip i went with a used 71 clip fom a parts car i had. also took out the small block and went with 489 ci 4L60E stage 3, with twist machines converter, paddle shift and TCI controller for the trans, installing next weekend. the rest still needs a few things. i should be ready for summer, caint wait to drive it.

That is really bad a$$ looking and you got all those cool gizmos like that fire breathing engine and paddle shift tranny. Jealous I am.

Congrats on all the hard work....

I love it, but you've gotta change out those red valve covers and red distributor cap. Clashes with the Atomic Orange really badly. Shoot them Atomic Orange (or maybe cream???).

c3 tracks, used one factory hole on c4 seat and c3 track. welded tab to track to line up to factory hole on c4 seat for the other hole. took measurements from c3 seat to be able to mount in car using c3 mounting location when making tabs for mounting track to seat. also needed .5" spacer in front so c4 seat could still slide front to back. it drug the floorboard without the spacers.

you are right. my plan is to paint valve covers atomic. smooth out the air filter cover, paint it atomic with the vanilla shake stripe down the middle with crossflag badge mounted towards the front of the top cover.

I'd take a vette like that over a boring NCRS-correct type any day!
