I went to the drag-strip with a buddy who is beginning to bracket-race his C5:
while my friends to the North suffered, maybe these pictures will warm you up.

a wide-selection of the competitors at Bradenton Motorsports Park include an early Camaro, a pre-WWII sedan, a decked-out van, and a hopped-up pick-up
This Yellow C6 was running 7-forties in the 1/8-mile
2007 RevXtreme Corvette Challenge Series Points Champion Craig Gingerich and his Pewter C5
2007 RevXtreme Corvette Challenge Series Points Runner-Up Candace Swenson & her C3 were still racing when we lost in the 3rd Round
That'll shorten the life-span on those tires.....

Today in Jersey it's going to be sunny and in the 50's....the vert is coming out to stretch it's legs for Super Bowl and a GIANTS win.

It got all the way up to 35 yesterday so my buddy got his '95 Coupe out & we hit the interstate and racked up some miles. Sure did feel good to be in a Vette again....
I thought about getting mine out but there was a few wet spots on the roads so I said screw it. Today it's snowing so it looks like she's not going anywhere anytime soon. The winter of my discontent.....
