Default Identifiying 1969 steering column levers (help needed)

I'm in debate with my father as he thinks that the big metal levers are orignal to the tilt column. I on the other hand believe its the skinny levers as shown in the picture. Can anybody help confirm which levers are correct for a 1969 Corvette?
