Default Seat Belt Pics

I had posted some questions on retractable seat & shoulder belts in a 68. The set I bought is from Mid America Motorworks for a 72-73. As you can see not an exact fit, but with a little work (HA-HA-HA) I did get them in. If anybody has questions ask,I'll try to explain. Hope these pics help someone.

I was thinking of putting come courtesy lights in the sail panels too. Do you like them there?

My courtsey light lenses are a little cloudy from age but new ones would definitely brighten things up. I think you would like them on your car.

That's not allowed, it's a 68 only thing.

Nice job dude!! Looks great, like it was meant to be there

You did the mod I wanna do, but backwards. I'd like to get rid of my shoulder belts and just have lap belts. On my 77 the shulder belts cuts right across my throat!! If I'm in an accident, I'm gonna be decapitated! Hope your new shoulder belts are a better positioned than mine!

My better half is vertically challanged (4'9") high. That is the reason for the 3" seat riser, also makes a great place for the amp! I could have saved time and just run the belts from the shoulder retractor to the lap belt. The shoulder belt guides I made position the shoulder belt to a safer location. Don't want to loose my head for safety either.

I saw the riser and figured it was strictly to fit the amp underneath. I guess the poor position of my shoulder belt could have to do with the 30 year old, worn out seats I have.
