Prebent stainless radiator hose
With the two serious bends in the radiator hose on my '77' I have found it impossible to slip on one of the braided hose covers or get a stainless or high pressure hose to work well. Does anyone make a braided or stainless hose that is prebent like my original hose? Or is there one on the market that can form and hold the bends?

I too have a 77. It was difficult to put the braided cover on the existing rad hose, all the others were a piece of cake. Had to buy a new rad hose (which of course did not have the expansion in the rubber from use), used leather gloves, stretched out the 'bends' reasonablyt straight and used windex as a 'slippery agent'. It took some time (about 45min), but it worked and I now have a new rad hose with the braided cover. Take your time and it will work.
