I broke down today and ordered my shortblock for the '72. 383 all forged and balanced. Hyd. roller cam 533/548. Brodix heads with a port matched intake. I'll be bolting on the heads, etc. just so I can call it my own, but this car should fly. It's a Wheeler power products motor and I already have one of their motors in my '69 Camaro and it has been fantastic. I guess I need to go ahead and start taking the original motor out of Vette. It will be going on an engine stand in the basement with a bag over it. Oh, and the car is a 4 speed. Woo Hoooooo!!! I'll post pics when I get everything going.

She's running fine now !
Two plug wires were mixed up causing my "afterfire" problem...
Now I'm waiting for the 5ft snow banks to melt !
