Good Question. I'm up by Cleveland, and I always get jealous of the people out in Cali with their get togethers and food runs and such. I'm pretty close to PBCanney. Maybe one of us can put something together once the weather gets nice.

Lake Shore Corvettes is having Vettemilion on June 21st at the Quaker Steak & Lube in Vermilion. They are also having a Vette only show at the American Legion in Sandusky (on Rt.4) on August 17th. Both were great shows last year.

After all the white stuff melts.

I'm in Huntsville Alabama now so I'm missing the fun. I guess I'll stay here until I can get the car into the driveway.

I am (G. E. Meek family, gm73 vette) sponsoring our second annual Cruise-In for Parkinson's, June 21, 2008 @ Quaker Steak and Lube, Polaris Parkway, Columbus, Ohio, 10:00 A - 4:00 P. Raffel, $1,000.00 first, $250.00 second and $100.00 third prize. First 100 entries receive glass plaque and goody bag. Entry $10.00 advance $15.00 day of event.

Thanks for all the offers to help with the engine swap. Once the weather clears up, we will have to get something orgainized. It would be cool if everyone could drive their vette's.

Well, I ordered the new motor tonight. I am getting a GM Performance 350HO 330HP crate motor. I ordered a polished Performer Vortec intake, new flex plate, new fuel pump pushrod and intake bolts. I have to order a new distributor gear then I think I will have everything I need. I think I'll send the distributor to Lars to rebuild.
I got the engine from Summit. Everything is in stock. I just need to run over to Akron this weekend and pick it up.
For all of you that offered to help, Thanks!! How about if we get together in a month or so to drop it in? The snow and salt should be gone by then. Send me a PM with what dates would work the best for you.

My Vette should be done in a month or so, and I'd be glad to help. If it's a weekend, I'm pretty flexible. I still have school all during the week, so if you guys are doing it then, count me out.

It will have to be on a weekend. My wife has offered to make the food. I've got a TV out in the garage so we can have the NASCAR race or something on. Everyone is welcome.
