Ah yes, finally seventy degree weather here in the Sacramento, Ca area!! Installed my new EXIDE battery, topped off the charge, and went for the first ride of the year.
Hit the back roads just outside of Folsom and enjoyed the sound of the exhaust, the sun shining down on the car and me, and the feel of that stroker 385 Cu. In. motor while banging out the shifts on the Hurst Comp Plus shifter. Oh yeah!!
I have another Vette, 2005 six speed coupe that I love. However, nothing is quite as raw and exciting as this red '69 roadster let loose.
Looking forward to many more rides, If I can afford the fuel. I hooked up my new CTEK battery tender this afternoon to ensure that this battery will live a long, long time.
