I've had it connected to 12v for several hours now, seems to be keeping good time so far! got the stock movement, but they can be had in quartz also.

I always thought is was optional to have a WORKING clock, since all c3s have one but you hardly ever see one working. It's on my list of things to fix on mine, but I'll upgrade to quartz.
Some months ago I was in contact with a guy in FL about facing an 82oil temp gauge to a 68 style, he said he could do it, but haven't heard from him and I let it go.... That would have got some looks from anyone familiar with 68s
My 75s clock still works i take it Out every two or so years send it to my watch /Jewerly Guy He puffs it with somestuff and cleans the contacts and she works for about two yrs and then i puller again. he does so much stuff for my girlfriend he doesnt even charge me.
