I think your right. Our site is set up so you can just enter the casting number in the search box and it will tell you exactly what it is.
I tried his number and it did not work. I then entered 270 and found 3955270. This should still be a good block to sell. I show it only having early 1969 application which would explain the 1968 casting time frame.
