Behind the Dash Wiring
Pulled the dash on my 78 PC and found a bunch of wires all the way over on the passenger side of the dash that were dangling down toward the #2 body mount. All of them were fried and fused together. They did not go to the power door locks or windows or the door switch (I found those two fused together inside the bird cage). They dont go to the glove box switch or floor light either, its still intact. Anybody know where or what these things do? I am thinking the orange have something to do with the alarm (its never worked since I had the car). Any help will be appreciated, otherwise I am going to clip and seal them off and hang them back up out of the way.
This is where the two orange wires run back to behind the instrument cluster. Alarm? They look like they run off to different parts of the car from here, I will track them down later.

A black and orange feed the blower motor and from what I see on my wiring diagram the black would have a connector on it like is shown in your picture. I still haven't found a connector with 2 whites on one side and a white with black stripe on the other yet but will keep looking. The door jamb switches are fed through a connector with 2 whites connected to a single white.
