Good bye Blacky
When I bought my 79 several years ago, it came with crappy black paint. Black is also terrible out here in farm country to keep clean.
As of 4:15 this AM, it is now light quasar blue. I did end up with a few runs and slight orange peel in the clear but I'm leaving that to the professionals to deal with when they buff.
Enjoy the slide show of a few pics of my "man cave" paint booth fashioned in my garage plus a few pics while in progress.

ingenious! I have painted in similiar caves and never even thought about using the strings to keep the plastic from sucking in. You deserve the budlight!
