I got my passenger side door lock actuator replaced, the vacumn check vavle replaced and new header gaskets. Now my door locks work like they should, my headlights don't raise up at WOT and my headers don't leak. This past week I got my passenger t top back from being repainted after having gotten horriby scratched from something getting loose in the t top bag, so now I can cruise in cold weather again as long as the skies are clear.

brngrhd, sounds like happy times at your house. That's the kind of news that I wouldn't mind putting the Vette on the back burner for a while for. Congratulations.
I finished reworking my engine compartment, all that's left to do is hook up the engine oil cooler fittings to the bulkheads down in the radiator frame (so I need to assemble 2 -12 hoses) There's a lot of custom stuff here, including a custom machined distributor for that crab style cap.
Fabricated a new transmission mount for my T56. Commercial crossmembers just didn't look like they would work. Cut into the stock crossmember, bolted in plates and the trans looks like it is sitting where it should be. Crude but effective.
Got the garage cleaned up. I am an antique dealer and have a garage full of crap (I mean antiques....actually there is some beautiful furniture in there), got it organized and now there is plenty of room to hang out with the Corvette and listen to tunes in the garage.
Finished installing the carpet and put the seats back in. The interior looks great. I feel good about my weekend (especially considering that I'm a real amateur).
Cut off the horny things that surround the front license plate area; reshaped with fiberglass matting. Sanded body primer - getting ready for last 2 coats of primer.
