And do you really kick back with a Guiness or a glass of wine?? I thought that was a joke when I read the original post...I guess I just don't think of hangin' in the garage over a nice weekend job on the Corvette and "pouring myself a nice merlot."
I guess "to each his own" and if your man space is a place to have a nice glass of wine then so be it.
Sure, the wife likes wine. 90% of the time if I am in the garage, it is a beer.
The concrete does warm up after a while..but it stays kinda cold. Are you from H-Ville? I think I talked to you on another site. Weren't you looking for a C4 or something?
This is off topic from the original post but I thought worth mentioning. I bought a water tank insulation blanket and use it to lie on the concrete when it is cold. It’s holding up good and keeps you warm on the cold floor and best of all it’s cheap.
I started this same thread over in the Pontiac forums when I had my Lemans. Two years later it is still one of the top threads with 25000 views and hundreds of posts.
I LOVE cool garages, mine is a work in progress. It has some cool stuff, but it also has a lot of crap in it still that needs to go away. I have my stereo and a TV out there and I hang out and watch movies and crank the tunes with a Guinness or a glass of wine.
[QUOTE=blbeck;1564474171]Here are some pictures of my Chevrolet dealership/museum. I have it set-up with a parts counter, waiting area, and new car salesman's desk. Everything is original Chevrolet GM dealership items with no reproductions. Double click on the picture for a larger image. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks,
Bob Beck
Ladies and Gents we have a winner. That is the coolest garage I have ever seen.

It is hard to punch that heat down on the floor with over head heat. When I built my last shop I put tubing in the concrete. I heat with a wood stove I made with a small cast iron heater in the fire box as a heat exchanger. With a circulator pump I get the benefit of heated floor and air. It works great plus the shop stays warm for two three days in the dead of winter from the heat buildup in the concrete. I also connected an oil fired hot water tank set at low temp. for days I am to lazy to light the stove.
My garage has a Nova scattered all over right now. Not a pretty site at the moment. But here is part of a garage in a house I built last year. I was the foreman on it and did most of the woodwork. The house recently had an article done on it for a magazine http://www.417mag.com/417-Magazine/F...=1&si=0#artanc The magazine article included a lot more pictures. This is just a one bay lower level garage, "the Man Room". Close to 40 feet deep. Two car garage upstairs.
