Default Hooker Header & Side Pipe Install Question
I was looking at the existing exhaust and what is to be done with the O2 sensor that is attatched. I have an '81.

You can drill a hole and weld in a "threaded bung" to put the os sensor back.

Is it neccessary to have the sensor hooked back up?

yes. your 81 has the early stages of computer controlled.
