Turn Signal Switch Replacement

I have to replace my turn signal swith and was wondering how to get the horn button off on my '81

. I'm thinking it has a clip under it, but not sure, and I don't want to break anything trying to get it off

I would not recommend just pulling the horn cap off. I would suggest using a small screwdriver and reaching under the cap to pry it loose. The cap, emblem, and metal retainer are all held together by three small posts that are part of the cap. The ends of the posts are spun over. The ends can very easily be broken off and you will end up with three loose pieces.
