Purchased this in 1988 in Winchester, Virginia... bought new in Purcellville, Virginia just down the road... Dealer was still there in 1990... Originally sold for $6150.50 (window sticker).
One of the first tasks was to replace a leaking gas tank and sure enough the build sheet was there...

This picture was taken at an Air Show in North Carolina after the car returned with me from Hawaii in 1998.

Thanks for the compliment. The previous owner said it was Porsche red painted approximately 12 years ago. Not sure if that helps?

Digging a post out of the ground but I couldn't find another 1973 specific thread. My Dad had a '73 and I have always kicked around the idea of resto-modding one. Let's see those 1 off 73's!
