Default What is difference between interior kits?

I am planing on going to the corvette expo at the end of the mth. and I got Al Knoch to send me a show price list. I was surprised to see their prices were still higher than other peoples non sale price.

I only want to pay once and I am trying to figure out if this is one of those case's that you get what you pay for?

What's your thoughts from the people that have been there and done that .

Thanks, Wilson

I got my seat covers and carpet from Wilcox and are very happy, going back for door panels soon.Other people will chime in, it's what ever you like.

If you want seat trims that fit and wear like OEM, go with Al Knoch. I've used them since the '70s and won't use anything else. You can source the rest of interior through other distributors.

When I was deciding on an interior supplier, I did like you & asked the Forum for opinions. Half of the replies suggested Al Knoch, the remaining 50% were spread over the rest of the vendors.

I went with Knoch for seat covers & doorpanels.
I'm so glad I did. They fit well & look great.

I bought Al Knoch's DVD's showing how to replace the convertible top and how to install seat covers. In the DVD's Al explains details about his tops and covers that make them more expensive. Once you know why you're paying more and know what your getting, paying extra is an easy decision.

I know what you are saying but I couldn't help but chuckle. You need to buy a product to find out why the other products cost more.

Now don't flame me....I'm just having fun.

I'm in Ontario, Canada and...Al Knoch was the Only way to go! Their price was slightly higher, But their quality, service and delivery was top notch! Got them to make custom two tone leather, just as I wanted, with new foam and all wires installed...Good luck.

Thanks for the feed back.
It looks like I will be going to the vette expo this weekend and picking up the stuff from Al Knoch.
