Default Dash Fit Confirmation.

I have good idea myself but would like confirmation. Is there any reason anyone can think of for why a '69 dash pad wouldn't fit in my '77? I know the center gauge cluster mounting is different, bot overall fit would be the same right? maybe upper screws from knee pads?

actually I would like to see the pic of that installation. I am suspicious that my dash is from a different year as the center guage cluster does not fit right. There is a 1/2 inch gap at the top of the center gauge cluster. I just bought the car, and am finding out alot of new things.

Durango Boy , The only difference that I am aware of are the 69 has no speaker holes and the stitching is different.

If no speakers is ok the rest is just apperance.

Yeah that's actually a big reason why I liked the idea of the early dash. I have no dash speakers and won't need the speaker holes at all.

I just spoke to someone over at Corvette America today and asked them the same question. They said that they are the same except for the speaker cutouts. I'm thinking about doing the same thing.
