F I R E D U P ........ ** Happy Easter **
After a long Northeast winter i fired up the REDHEAD......
she turned right over & ________________ ( fill in the blank )
No trickle charger the optima yellow top made it through & cranked right over after 4 months only starting her up once a month for 15 minn. each time.
I'm impressed with the battery power to say the least.
Listen to her wake up out of hibernation, watch the VIDEO below, and enjoy the sound of "SPRING."
Congrats. Sounds terrific. I've got a couple more weekends before I hit the switch and see what happens. Just trying to get mine back together after paint.
Ya'll are mean. I wasn't able to get mine out this weekend at all, and it was a damn nice day yesterday. Hopefully next weekend will be nice weather also. If so, I can see a lot of seat time.
Last week I did need to trickle charger, but at least it took the charge!
Fired it up love the sound of the Headers & duels (even on a small block) But I didn't video tape it. Oh well.
Put a quick 20 or 30 miles on it at sun down. But it always something. . .
found out one of my "original" dash speakers didn't survive the Connecticut Winter (even in the Garage) so ad it to the "to do" list
The sweetest sound you'll ever hear!
I drive my 70 when ever I can, weathwer and clear dry roads permitting, all winter.
Had a blast driving it last week in our towns St. Pat's parade.
Drove on Saturday for Easter errands. It was beautiful here in the New York metro area!

I'll be posting shortly / my Barret Jackson - Corvette Forum fantasy bid contest.............
keep your eyes open, lots of fun & a great prize for the winner who guesses the closest final price
without going over of a nice C-3 that will be auctioned off next week at Palm Beach.
Fired mine up on Easter morn for the first time since December. Hooked up the quick disconnect and fired right up!
Man I missed that sound!
Ran her down the road and through the gears for about 5 minutes.
Felt really good.
Then I pulled her in the garage to install the new glass rear spring and Hookers.
Welp....removed the spring and decided to drop the pig to change the lube while I was in there. Found out my crossmember bushings where not as nice as I'd like so I dropped the crossmember and ordered out new bushings. Also wanted to install a new clutch this spring so I prepped the trans for removal. She looks so naked with parts all over the shop! Got to looking at the engine bay and decided it needs a little cleaning and painting....after some pondering, decided that I should just pull the motor since the trans will already be out. What's two engine mounts?
So anyway, my one weekend job of installing a new spring and Hookers has now turned into probably 3 weekends or better of engine pulling, cleaning, and painting.
