Default Changing the headlight bulbs

Stupid question, I know...

Never changed them before and it's my first corvette. I want to upgrade to halogen sealed bulbs. First off, how do I change them? Can I do this from the front? What bulbs does everyone prefer as far as halogen is concerned?

I bought Sylvania xtra vision halogens from Autozone for ~$ 10. I havent installed them yet but I've used them on other cars and know they'll be good.

1. When your lights are up remove the painted bezel
2. Remove trim rings around light
3. Unplug old plug in new

1 screw either side of the bezel - 2 up under the eyebrow IIRC.

Start your car up and raise the headlights - pull on the override switch located below the column - turn off headlights - car.

swap out the lights from the front by removing the bezel then the lights etc...

its pretty straightforward
