Default Difference between seats

Is there a difference between the seats on a '78 Indy and the seats on 79-82?

Also, another random question... what is that Y-strap used for in the cargo area on 78-82 vettes? Is it designed to hold something in particular?

I'd imagine the T-Tops... At least that is what mine in my 79 are for.

The Pace Car seats were then used for 79+
Non Pace Car '78s had the standard/non-bolstered seats.

Ditto on the t-top straps.

As pointed out...they're all the except the base 78 seat. The seat tracks used on the Pace Car are same as those from 79-82 as well.
