Default Where do these connectors go?

Hi Guys, i'm hoping you can help me.

I'm hooking up my air conditioner switch and see i have two extra connectors in the new wiring harness i installed. The purple connector came taped down to the wire harness.

Any ideas?

If this is the dash harness, in my application the purple - purple/white wires were for the neutral safety switch on the automatic transmission shift linkage.

Purple and purple with white stripe are neutral safter switch for auto trannie. On the 71' diagram I have, the only yellow and blue wires I could find go to the wiper door relay (on the back of the Tach see photo)

Thank's for the input guys. The purple wire connector makes perfect sense now.

Now, the connector with the two wires (blue/yellow) still remains a mystery to me.

It's not the wiper door relay connector as that one is already attached and has 3 wires.

Anyone else know what this may be for? Perhaps for an option my car isn't equipped with?

Thanks for your input!

Now I have it. It goes to the wiper RELAY in the center console. The other end goes to the solenoid on the tech.

Duke, you're the man i appreciate your help!

I'm just a little confused though. This is the wiper relay correct?

I already have connectors plugged in there and don't see where that connector could attach?

Yes, the black thing you point to is the wiper relay. See the page from the AIM below.

I believe this picture is with my new harness and a new relay installed (silver cover) You can just make out the blue and yellow wire to the left side of the relay.
