Sorry just venting
Finally got my 74 ready to paint, now pollen season is starting. Doing it in the garage so will just have to wait at least a month, worked to hard getting everything right to take the chance. Anyone from GA knows what I am talking about, it is like a green fog, covering cars, streets everything.
Guess I will just keep drinking beer and looking at it dreaming of a solid color
Up here in Minnesota, we have the wonderful cottonwoods. In the spring the seed pods stain you cloths and stick to everything. Then in the summer we get the cotton. Gets into the screens etc, then in the fall it’s the leaves. And we also do get the pollen.
AMEN! I have a black camaro. It's depressing to go over the whole car, then have it look like someone emptied a chemical fire extinguisher over it two hours later.
i'm from louisiana and the pine pollen is horrible. like you said its like a green fog in the air. but usually one good rain takes care of that, then it's on to fighting the love bugs.
Man, pollen season is terrible here too. I'm in Alabama so its just as bad as Georgia.
At my complex, all my cars look like some one sprinkled yellow baby powder on them.
To make matters worse, they are doing construction across the street from my parking lot at my job so I get pollen at home and dust plus fine debree like concrete, bricks and other stuff on my car at work.
I know the feeling!! First I'm allergic to pollen, second I worked for 2 years on my Vette to have it spray-painted last weekend, turns out the guy was sick. Now I have to wait for 3 weeks and I have to sneeze ;-)
