Now that is a cool looking paint job and a great looking engine compartment. I agree about the rims though. They look out of place on such a nice looking car.

Wow, that's a very cool looking car! I'm usually opposed to extra vents and such, but those are very tastefully done and complement the car well. Nice job!

Awesome car

Is that the really expensive paint that changes colors depending on the amount of light shining on the car? Great work

Thx for all the good feed back! I was wondering how people would take it, because the first day I had it out I drove it to Auto Zone to get new stuff to detail it. Just so happed there was another vette a C5 so I parked next to it thinking Cool! Out walks the owner some old cranky dude all how drunk were you when you painted that? What kinda car is that? How much was the paint job 3 grand? If I were to paint my car that color I'd get arrested .... I'm standing there trying not to laugh and told him nice vette just because he owned one, even though he bought a sports car to feel young again and couldn't think of what else to spend his retirement money on hehehe

But really anyone thats into vette's and cars seems to like it Sorry for rambling on just find those type of people funny. Ok the paint is called Copper Patina and it's made by Alsa Corp. I don't have the link right now but there's always google, they have alot of cool colors.

Here's the link http://www.alsacorp.com/

This Copper Patina will change to a deep reddish copper to gold, bright green in the sun dull green with no sun and it has a metallic flake and the pics don't do it justice believe it or not.

The wheels yeah I was thinking the same...these are the original stock wheels and I like the stock design... kinda thinking of sanding the snot out of them to get a chrome look going but that takes time and money... They'll tarnish but if I go that route would clear coat take to the slick surface? I'll eventually end up shopping for new wheels when I get more money and shop for new rubber..

The paint job was reasonable a little over 7 grand which included extra work like repairing the passenger side fender ....found out it was patched up from an accident which they decided to pile 8 lbs or more of bondo in the fender..

Oh the paint costed 800 bones a gallon

Now THAT is cool! I've never seen that chameleon color before. Definitely an attention getter.

I thought of painting mine Tahitian Sunset......a chameleon color by Dupont that goes orange/blue/gold/red, but in the end decided to go with boring old black.

Did you put the fender vents in? If so, where did you get them, and how did you position/install them?
