C3 bumper
I own a '73 C3, the front bumper made contact with the garage wall once to often, I have purchased and shipped out to South Africa a new Eckler's replacement in fibreglass, now that I am fitting it, it seems almost 1/4" to short on either side, I think by slitting the bottom section on either side of the lower grills i can bend the ends slightly outwards to match the fender line, then fibreglass it together again,is this normal practice, or does anybody out there have a better idea?

Each car is different so fitting is normal for the fiberglass bumpers. I bought a Trueflex bumper from Wilcox, it is made by Toledo Pro. The fit was a lot closer then others have talked about here.
