72 window wont work, any ideas?

72 window wont work, any ideas?

So last fall i hydroplaned into a parked SUV and bashed in the front of my 72 coupe. I now have it back and am finishing the body prep work for paint and a few other odds and ends.. for example the driver's side window. It won't roll down. It worked just fine before the collision but now won't budge. Passenger side works fine. Should I try exchanging the switches and see if the problem is there or what? Maybe the relay? or take the door apart and check the window motor... if that's the case how would I check the motor?

Try switching the wiring to test for a bad switch, and then test for voltage at the window motor. The harness might have come off of the window motor in the crash.

Might be a wiring problem. simple to check for and easy to replace. was a problem on my car a year ago

Check switch first, that is easiest by switching or by closing wire loop. These switches can be repired, I fixed mine.
