When I bought my 77 almost 3 years ago it had the nose emblem just stuck on the car. Someone removed the pins from the emblem and filled the holes. I bought a new emblem. Can someone take a minute to measure how far the emblem sits back from where the bumper cover meets the body. Thanks

Can't you tell where holes are located by looking at bottom side...you may need a mirror to do this. Doubt the person took the time to finish off the underside.

You may be able to actually get under there and drill the filled holes back out again.

Thats what I needed to know. Thanks. It was too hard to look up underneath to see where the original holes were and I didnt want to disturd any filler for fear of cracking the paint.
