Default Help with eligible donors?

akfox1 has had a '69 body and matching motor for sale for a while with nothing else. I've been able to locate a few donor cars, but none a '69. For frame and interior pieces, what years of C3 are suitable or preferred donor?

Thanks in advance

bump for a little love! I think mine was the only post today with absolutely zero replies. All I'm looking for is someone to confirm that a '74 interior and frame are a good fit to help rebuild a '69.

Look for a 69-72 frame. I think the rear bumper mounts for '74 were different. The frame can probably be adapted but 69-72 are virtually interchangeable.

As far as interiors, I have seen late 70's/ early 80's dash/seat and door panels fit to early 70 cars. You could go with any interior up to 76 without issues. 77 has a different center console and steering column, 78 and up an entirely different dash (One piece).

Hope this helps.

Thats 69 to early 74 frames. They changed partway through.

Any C3 frame will fit with some work. SilverSlashStreak has been putting late C3 frames under C2s for repairs. 69-E74 will apparently fit without any work. I think the late 68s had the same frame as the 69s, too. Interior parts, most everything from 69-76 will interchange, some little details may be different. Most 77 parts, except the console, would also fit.
