Oil Mix ?
Does it hurt to mix in a quart of synthetic with conventional oil as long as they are the same weight? Always heard you can get some of the positive properties of synthetic without the expense... by mixing.

Adding one quart of synthetic to conventional oil will not make much of a difference at all to your engine.
What is it you're looking for from a synthetic without actually filling with synthetic?

Just adding "some" of the slick/protectant properties without the expense of 100% synthetic. Sort of like adding a quart of SLick 50 (which actually made my Intrepid idle smoother).
Just making sure I wont have some big oil separation going on..but I think I read it is ok as long as weights are the same.......?
