Question About Front Clip Removal
I am doing a full frame off restomod on my '81, and one of the things I am planning is to smooth the firewall and inner fender panels and paint them body color (either Viper or Porsche Guards Red, not sure which yet). The front fenders have some minor cracks that I am going to have to repair either way, but there are no bonding issues with the cowl. My question...should I remove the front clip, or leave it on? I'm planning to use base/clear and want the best finish possible.
