I have a small slide show from an auto x I went to sat.... I had never been before and had a great time. Couldnt keep the car straight but I had fun.... I was trying to hard toget around the track the fastest i could and would wind up spun around on every turn...LOL
But man was it fun.... The 1 run I did that I didnt spin out I hita 40.152 all the hot cars were running a 30.00-35.00 best time was 39.002 I think. was a lot of fun , but the next time im going to actually try to make it around the track a little better.....LOL

The best part of the day was the ride alongs.. I must have driven in atleast 10 other peoples cars..... I was in this on Z06 that was way to powerful for the course.. over 700 hp...LOL
But i also drove in another Z06 that just had a cam and a tune and it was one of the fastes cars on the course. Way too much fun....

Not supposed to be going straight!
The more you run the track the better you get. I always try to better my time with each run. I try to remember the line I took and how I can get a better line and faster exit. Last year I was able to trim about 4 seconds off my 1st to last run. I was running at what the best stock C5 and C6 cars were running. The guys with the sticky tires will blow you away on stock tires. I just go to have fun and try to better my times. As I said in another post, if you don't spin once in a while you are not trying hard enough.

I just rebuilt another forums members suspension on his 71. He was surprised at how much tighter it felt. I would highly recomend this for better results on the autoX.
