In 1974 the L48 engine had 195 HP 275 torque and 8.5:1 compression ratio. The stamp pad on the passenger side near the head is a better indicator of the engine in the car. The codes should be CKZ,or CLA, or CLB, or CLC depending on the transmission or Ca emissions.
The data plates can be bought for about 15 bucks and glued on so they are not infallible.
