Default Jesse James 69 427 on E bay

Check out this 68. It was (or is) supposedly owned by Jesse James. The lister sure needs some help in the spelling dept. Did 68s EVER have a factory sidepipe option? I thought they were dealer added later. What do you guys think?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...QQcmdZViewItem
I know I said 69 in the title, sorry for the typo.

As far as I know the sidepipe option wasn't available until the '69 came out. I could be wrong and I'm sure I'll be corrected if I am

No side exhaust in 68,69 only.BUT,Pro Team has a low vin#68,15th off the line i believe, that has side exhaust which is claimed to be documented by the tank sticker.

If side pipes were a dealer-added option, why would they be documented on the tank sticker?

I would like to see the document/title w/Jesse James name on it.
I have seen his toys and 99.99% of them are custom rides. Sounds like to me. I think I'll park my vette outside of Gracelands gates and sell it as once owned by Elivs Presley, former husband of Pricilla Presley, and father of Lisa Marie Presley.

I've posted on another board that James frequents, we'll see what he says.

This guy has re-listed this car many times and it has never sold.
After a while he will have to double the price just to make up for the listing fees!!

It sold. Asdie from the shadt Jesse james history and questionable sidepipe option it looks a nice car.

Side exhaust was from the factory,NOT a dealer option.A luggage rack was a dealer option.
