Hi there,
I just redid my power steering and put only a portion of the fluid needed inside the pump. I now need to bleed the system to get it all filled up. But I have a problem because I left the keys in th e ignition turned too long and The battery died. I'm wondering if it will screw up the power steering to jump the car and let it run (to power up) without the fluid completely full?
you should bleed the majority of the system with the engine off. turn the wheel lock to lock a few times and check fluid. do that until the level stays the same. then start the car and bleed the rest
