Well I got an email yesterday from the past... literally.
I went to inspect a vehicle for a forum member about 4 years ago when I was still at home in NJ. The car was my dream car and if I had the money I would have bought the car myself but I didn't so I called the guy (Mark) and told him the car was perfect. Mark lived in Florida at the time and immediately bought it. I move to Michigan for school this year and sell my car. Mark emails me and offers me the car. I have posted on here looking for an 80 or 81 black on black 4 speed and some how he saw it and remembered that it was me. He had also moved to Michigan. I just can't believe it but I thought I would share my story with you guys. I may own my first Corvette here in the next couple of weeks. I plan on going to look at it on Saturday so I will let you guys know. He said he has only put about 1000 miles since he bought it and would like to see it to go to someone that will use it.(ME!!!) It has a built engine too. I am just so happy. This forum is great and if everything goes well I will officially be a new corvette owner.

That's a fantastic story. Can't wait to see you actually get it. Make sure you take and post lots of pics of the day you take delivery of it. Congrats.
well... I pick up the car on Friday. The guy accepted my offer so my first Corvette is a 1981 Black on Black 4 speed with a 383. I can't wait to bring it home. It will definitely be going to Englishtown a few times over the summer.
