Special Socket?
I just went to remove my drive line so I could replace my blown up ujoint and there looks to be a special type of spcket need for the rear straps on my 82. It is smaller then 5/16 and looks to have 12 points or more.

...I believe it's either a 1/4" 12pt socket OR it is an inverted Torx socket that works. My '80, which was a 4spd car took that E 10 Torx socket, but it had the steel rear spring. I think the '81/'82 automatics cars with the fiberglass rear spring had the smaller Torx head bolt on the u-joint straps.
