Default gotta move the vette

moving the vette to the parents house because my roomates lady friend doesnt want it in the back driveway anymore...... trying to keep the peace until i can move out of the basement...hahaha....... considering that my vette isnt blocking anything and is in front of the garage (2 car i might add) with a tarp over it.....grrr...... now i wont have time to do anything on it........ parents live about 15-20 minutes away............ so looks like i'm not getting anything done on the vette anytime soon...unless i find a decent job and get shop space....

I've been a member of this forum for a long time, and I have seen the work you have done to your Vette as well as visited your design website. You are a very talented guy who should be doing much better than living in someone's basement. Maybe you should look into teaming up with someone who is good at business/marketing to move your career forward. Many artistic types are not good at marketing themselves, and there are plenty of non-creative business types who are looking to make some $.

thanks rick,

i really dont understand why i'm not doing better...... it's not like i suck at what i do...but its a matter of getting a full push/backing for my ideas....

i have tried to get some financial support but didnt happen..... my family is the typical middleclass and i paid my way through college..(still owe for my 5-year b.a. architecture)

it's really a matter of getting a decent sized project/job that will get the ball rolling..... all this nickle/dime stuff i have been doing over the years really isnt getting me anywhere...... i tried to move...but stayed due to family reasons.......

so, not much i can due here in detroit but to create my products and try to push them out of state........ hoping my clothing line will take off soon....along with a few other ideas i have.....

it'll happen..... i just need to keep a level head....... i'll be 32 this year.... i didnt think i would still be struggling to eat at this age....grrrr..

i'm thinking about doing vette awards for events....just need to prototype up a few ideas before i market them...
