Default Changing the seat covers/foam

I was thinking of ordering new seat covers on foam for my dad's 1979. What is involved in installing the new sets of covers/foam?

Thanks.

they're fairly easy to install, there are clips that they snap into in the seat frame. on the back of the new seat cushions there are rods that snap into the clips. i had to make a tool to help me do mine, i took a flat blade screw driver and ground a u shaped notch in the end to assist in getting the rod in the clips, put the bottoms in first. good luck.

Just did mine, real easy. I made the same tool as speedreed8, works very well. You'll need something to help "persuade" the wires into the clips, especially on new foams, they are pretty stiff. You can print instructions from the Willcox site if you want to see how the clips are laid out.

Here's my new seats;

Thanks for the information.

The pics look great.
